Wreck Diving in Coron – An journey into History

Diving into a ship wreck in Coron, Palawan Island is just something really amazing.

You neither need to be a wreck specialist nor a hardcore diver to enjoy a dive where History takes the front row. There are about a dozen Japanese ships, which sank in a single morning,  because of the US Airforce during WWII.

Enjoy amazing discoveries thanks to our Fun & Sun Coron Diving Team.

Professionalism and safety are our two primary objectives, while having fun is what diving is all about on a day with the Fun & Sun Coron Team. Some of our team members have hundreds, and even thousands of dives in the various wrecks and it is safe to say that they know them like the back of their hands. be prepared for a stunning experience…

During the briefing, you will be shown some drawings of the wrecks with the different points of interests and your dive guide will be showing you these during your dive. Depending on your dive level, penetration will be possible in many of the ship wrecks. Enjoy how the lights create some fabulous special effects !! Often we compares our dive with a visit of a museum. Simply Fascinating.

Coron is the wreck capital in the Philippines and once you have visited the place, you will understand the reason…

Having said that, there are several dive sites, where the attractions are not wreck related such as Barracuda lake (a thermocline at 38 degrees will surprise you), Cathedral and many other sites full of colorful marine life. Turtle, all kinds of coral reef fish, cuttlefish and octopus, nudibranch and flatworms will make the dives and excitement from the start to the finish.

A spectacular BBQ lunch will be served between the dives and we make a point to show off the culinary skills of the team, which has been marketing their fresh ingredients an hour before the start of a fantastic day of dives.
