Diving in MACTAN, Cebu

With about 12 dives sites, 5 marine protected area, diving in Mactan provides a perfect introduction to the Philippines underwater world.

From schools of jacks or sardines, groupers or sweetlips to a diverse macro marine life, Mactan dive sites have much to offer.

Our departure point is about 25 minutes from Mactan International airport and on the coastline where most of the major resorts are located.

We offer diving day trip with 2 or 3 dives with an awesome BBQ lunch cooked and served on board. Non-divers are welcome to join the fun.

Diving in MALAPASCUA, Cebu

With world class dive sites, such as Kimud Shoal (thresher sharks), Monad Shoal (white tip and tiger sharks) or Gato island (Macro paradise), the Island of Malapascua is often considered among the top 3 diving locations in the Philippines.

Being one of the pioneer dive centers on the island, Fun & Sun Dive & Travel experienced team is geared to provide you with an unforgettable diving adventure.

We offer diving courses (PADI), fun dives and have our own accommodation at our dive center.

Diving in SAFARI, Philippines

Today, Fun & Sun Dive & Travel is one of the leading companies to propose customized dive adventures within the Visayas.

During Fun & Sun Dive & Travel Safari, all nights are spent on land in small, but comfortable resorts, which is the main difference with liveaboard trip during which guests sleep on board.

Ideally designed for group of 10-20 divers, our customized dive safari will take you to multiple diving destinations along routes for a duration ranging from 6 to 15 days.

Do I need to be an experienced diver to join your trips?

No, you don’t need to be an experienced diver. We offer a range of dive experiences suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced divers. Our professional guides will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable dive, regardless of your experience level.

What is included in your dive packages?

Depending on what offer you have selected, your dive packages may include everything, such as the transfers to and from your diving location, your accommodation, your dive equipment or courses, as well as your meals. Our dive packages are really tailored made to ensure fitting our guests desire.

What happens if the weather affects our dive plans?

Safety is our top priority and if the weather conditions are unfavorable for diving, we do not take any risks leading to any level of discomfort. Changing dive sites may or may not be possible and as much as possible, Fun & Sun will provide the best available alternative if the initial plan can’t be followed. Traveling insurance is usually recommended and may provide some assistance as well.

When is the best time to dive in the Philippines?

In the Visayas Region where Fun & Sun Dive & Travel operates, we are lucky to say that we are able to dive all year around. Apart from some specific marine life (whale sharks – October to April), the quality of diving remain rather uniform from January to December with a water temperature ranging from 26-31. From a weather point of view, February to June is usually the time when the sea is the most serene and the chance of rain limited. October- November provide usually also very good conditions.
