CEBU FUN DIVE

• Cabilao Island
• 30 nautical miles South from Mactan Island and half way to the white sand of Alona Beach, Cabilao Island has some of the best diving in the Philippines.
Depth: Up to 40m(130ft) plus.
Visibility: Up to 40m(130ft).
 
• Balicasag Island
• 50 nautical miles South from Mactan and 30 minutes by bangka from Alona Beach with good opportunities to sight dolphins on the way, Balicasag is known for its magnificent powdery white sands and breathtaking drop-off and can pledge, without contest, some of the best diving in the Philippines.
 
• HILUTUNGAN ISLAND
• Description: Excellent for snorkeling adventure and diving. Just off the coast of Cordova is paradise personified: Island and Sun Beach Resort. This resort is only a 15 to 20-minute boat ride from Cordova Reef Village Resort across the Hilutungan Channel, the deepest in the area. No diver has dared to go under the channel's deepest points yet for its dark patches underneath. But up to now, they are constantly inviting groups of divers around the world to come to the area and discover its magical underwater beauty. This, however, has attracted a lot more tourists to explore the island.
 
• NALUSUAN ISLAND
• Nalusuan Island Resort is part of the famous Olango reef bird sanctuary southeast of Mactan and is 30 minutes away by pump boat from Mactan and also considered as a Marine Sanctuary. This Cebu beach resort lets you fully enjoy aqua sports activities like wave runners, jet skiing, scuba diving, and water skiing. Snorkel in the protected coral garden and marvel at the beauty of the Philippines’ marine life. The Nalusuan experience so truly rustic and back-to-nature that, from 8a.m. to 6p.m. daily, this island paradise resort is powered by two things: the sun and the smiles of our cheerful staff that wait to do your bidding!
 

Everyday, Daily Dive Trips are scheduled on board our fast and spacious traditional Filipino dive "Bangkas" either to Mactan area or upon request to the more remote dive spots like Cabilao & Balicasag islands or Cuatro Islas. According to our strategic location, straight in the center of the East side of Cebu island, reach the dive sites is a matter of several minutes to a couple of hours which may be used to polish suntan or enjoy the landscape. With a few exceptions due to currents, most of the dives may be enjoyed from beginners to experienced divers.

* Departure between 0800 or 0930 hours from Mactan and Return between 1500 or 1800 according to the dive site location.

REMARKS:

  • A liability Release and Express Assumption of Risks form should be filled out by all passengers of Fun & Sun Dive Center prior to departure.
  • Buddy system procedures have to be followed by the divers on all dives.
  • Full equipment includes: Mask, Fins (w/ or without booties), snorkel, BCD, regulator with octopus & SPG, wetsuit (short), weigh and belt
  • Other equipment like diving computers, torches, compass, knives, UW Camera are available at the dive center for rental.
